Lobos Audio is a full-service recording, mixing, and mastering studio, owned by Grischa Kursawe and Milena Minuth. Located in Germany’s Black Forest, the studio is run by Grischa, an experienced mixing and mastering engineer with over a decade in the industry, while Milena, a songwriter and singer, brings her creative expertise to the space.
Designed for high-end audio production, Lobos Audio features a meticulously treated control room with Dolby Atmos mixing (7.1.4) and world-class acoustics. The studio includes two intimate yet highly functional recording rooms—one optimized for vocals and smaller instruments, and another designed for drums and bigger instruments.
Beyond technical excellence, Lobos Audio provides a welcoming and inspiring environment where artists can focus entirely on their music.
Studio Rooms
Main Room – Mixing & Mastering
A mastering-grade space with a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos setup and Genelec speakers, meticulously designed to meet Bonello and Bolt criteria. It also fulfills EBU/ITU (1998) and IEC (1998) standards. Primarily built for (remote) mixing and mastering, it boasts a beautifully flat room response, high-end analog gear, and top-tier converters.
Tracking Room 1 – Vocals, Guitars
Perfect for vocals and smaller instruments, this room also accommodates guitar amps or cabinets. A wall-mounted screen displays Pro Tools sessions or live video feeds, enhancing communication. Warm lighting sets a cozy, creative atmosphere
Tracking Room 2 – Drums, Larger Instruments
A compact space designed for larger instruments like drums, with overhead mics mounted directly to the ceiling for efficient use of the space. Musicians can see each other through glass doors, ensuring smooth collaboration during recordings
